After working in NY’s “non-digital” (traditional) advertising community for over a decade, Mark became a digital pioneer. He founded one of the first digital advertising agencies in NY, taught digital strategies at the university level, and ultimately practiced his skills on “both sides of the desk.” This unique combination of traditional and digital expertise is what differentiates Colloquy Digital.


A pioneer in websites and social media in particular, Mark applies his Madison Avenue knowledge and expertise to every assignment and engagement. His clients refer to him as a grey-haired Millenial due to his many years of marketing experience blended with the latest marketing channels and technologies that he brings to clients of all sizes.

Mark Cohen

Mark Cohen is an accomplished Senior Executive with more than 35 years of success across the marketing, technology, digital media, and finance industries. Leveraging extensive experience translating business objectives into digital solutions as an integrated marketing pioneer, he is a valuable asset for companies seeking expert advisory in the areas of growth and strategic guidance, marketing strategy, or on integration of digital marketing or media into their organization. His broad areas of expertise include digital marketing, entrepreneurship, business development, social media, online advertising, lead generation, branding, e-commerce, and new media.

Throughout his executive career, Mr. Cohen has held leadership positions at companies including Colloquy Digital LLC, Cambridge Investment Research, Inc., Meers Advertising, Human Factors International, Fetter Logic Inc., Foci LLC, Janus Capital Group, and CCM. As President of Colloquy Digital since 2009, he has acted as CMO for a variety of start-ups and small to mid-sized companies, has developed social selling strategies for John Hancock Funds and RS Investments, and pioneered and created social media strategy for Cambridge Investment Research, Inc.,  where he also served as AVP of Digital Media from 2011 to 2014. He previously spent three years as Managing Partner with Foci, where he built the company to $3M in revenue over three years and created digital campaigns for clients including Janus Capital, Community Bancorp, Red Bull North America, and Watershed Investments. This followed five years as Director of Electronic Marketing with Janus Capital, where he led the company into the digital age as he pioneered the use of the internet in the asset management space and built a retail web presence that serviced more than $2B in assets. This was preceded by two years as Founder/Managing Partner of Premiere Interactive Media, one of the first digital agencies in New York where clients included Dupont, IBM, and Minwax.

Mark holds a BS in Management and Marketing from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has held board positions with America Scores (Executive Committee Member and Previous Chairman of Denver Scores), Spirit of Harmony Foundation (Founding Board Member and Treasurer) and the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center (Chairman and Previous President) among others.
